Examination TextThe Examination of Ann Holland destitute of lodging taken this 26th Day of October 1773. This Examinant on her oath saith that she is 18 years of age, that her mother hath informed this Examinant that she was born in St Martin's Street in the Parish of St Martin in the Fields, that she this Examinant was never was married, bound an apprentice, kept house rented a tenement of 10 pounds by the year paid any parish taxes nor been a yearly hired servant in any one place for 12 months together, that her father Thomas Holland and Elizabeth her mother are absconded and she cannot tell where they are to be found, that she cannot tell their place of settlement. Sworn the day and year above written before J. Treslove.
