Examination Text | Helen Diston aged about 45 years lodging at the Golden Cross Inn Yard in the Parish of St Martin in the Fields on her oath saith that she was since the death of her husband (having no child living) a yearly hired servant to Mr Skilern a Music Shop in the Church Yard of the said Parish for the space of one whole year and upwards all under one hiring at the yearly wages of 5 pounds diet and lodging, quitted the same about six months ago, that she hath not kept house rented a tenement of 10 pounds by the year nor paid any parish taxes since. Sworn the second Day of November 1785 before William Hyde. |
