Examination Text | Peter Pinethorne aged 30 years destitute of lodging on his oath saith that he was by the Trustees of St Martin in the Fields Grey Coat Charity School bound an apprentice by an indenture for seven years to Mr Hatton a Silk Dyer in Church Court in the Parish of St Martin in the Fields aforesaid and there served his said Master six years and nine months, and then his said Master died and he this deponent was at large, that he this deponent never kept house rented a tenement of 10 pounds by the year paid any parish taxes nor hath been a yearly hired servant in any one place for 12 months together since the expiration of his said apprenticeship. Sworn the 10th day of October 1785 before John Collick. |
