| Examination Text | Anna Maria Putt aged about 41 years lodging at No.10 in Charles Court in the Strand in the Parish of St Martin in the Fields upon her oath saith she is the widow of William Putt (who died the 31st Day of June last) to whom she was married at the Parish Church of St. James Westminster the 24th January in the year 1759, that her said husband lived in and rented an house in Charles Court aforesaid for the space of 13 years at the yearly rent of 18 pounds besides taxes and that he died in the occupation of the said house, that she has hath one child by her said husband to wit Susannah aged eight years now with this Examinant. Sworn the 19th Day of August 1778 before John Goodchild. |
