Examination TextElizabeth Kiell aged 33 years in the workhouse of and in the Parish of St Martin in the Fields upon her oath saith that she is the wife of David Kiell (gone from her) to whom she was married at the Parish Church of St Martin in the Fields the [blank] Day of [blank] in the year 1776, that her said husband is a Peruke maker by trade and lived in and rented an house in Church Lane in the Parish aforesaid for the space of one year and upwards at the yearly rent of [blank] pounds besides taxes, quitted the same about three years ago, that her said husband hath not kept house rented tenement of 10 pounds by the year nor paid any parish taxes since. Sworn the [blank] day of [blank] 1778 before [blank].
