Examination Text | Margaret Freeman aged 17 years passed as a vagrant from the Parish of St. James within the liberty of Westminster to the Parish of St Martin in the Fields within the said liberty upon her oath saith that she never was married nor bound an apprentice, that she was a yearly hired servant to Mr Bunn a Gun Smith near New Street in St Martin's Lane in the said Parish of St Martin in the Fields for the space of one year and an half all under one hiring at the yearly wages of 4 pounds diet and lodging, quitted the same about two years ago, that she hath not kept house rented a tenement of 10 pounds by the year paid any parish taxes nor been a yearly hired servant in any one place for 12 months together since.
