Examination Text | Richard Watts aged 69 years lodging at a Tallow Chandler's the corner of Denmark Street in the Parish of St Giles in the Fields in the County of Middlesex upon his oath saith that he was bound an apprentice by an indenture for seven years to Alexander Lureman a Stay Maker in Orange Street in the Parish of St Martin in the Fields and there served his said Master all the said term out, which expired about 48 years ago, that he never kept house rented a tenement of 10 pounds by the year paid any parish taxes nor been yearly hired servant in any one place for 12 months together since.
