Examination TextMary Robins aged 37 Years upon her Oath saith that she is the Wife of Richard Robins (who hath gone & left her) to whom she was Married at the Parish of Saint Clement Danes about 18 Years ago, that her said Husband is a Carpenter by Trade & lived in & rented a House in Cross Lane in the parish of Saint Martin in the ffields within the liberty of Westminster in the County of Middlesex for the space of One Year & upwards at the Yearly Rent of Twenty ffour Pounds beside Taxes, quitted the same about Two Years ago since which he hath not rented a Tenement of Ten pounds by the Year paid any Parliamentary or Parochial Taxes nor done any Act whereby to gain any subsequent Settlement that she hath ffive Children by her said Husband, to wit Mary, aged 16 Years & upwards Emblen, aged 11 Years, Richard aged 9 Years & upwards Elizabeth aged 7 Years & Agnes aged 16 Months all with this Examinant. // Sworn this 1st day of November 1787 before R Taylor // Mary Robins her Mark L.
