Examination TextMary Bride aged 34 years and upwards lodging at No.2 in Thackham's Court in the Parish of St Martin in the Fields upon her Oath saith That she is the Widow of James Bride (who died the First Instant) to whom she was Married at the Parish Church of Saint Martin in the Fields the twenty eighth day of July in the year 1770, That her said Husband was a Leather Breeches Maker by trade and livd in and rented an house in Coventry Court in the Parish aforesaid for the space of six years and at the yearly rent of fourteen pounds six years and at the yearly rent of eighteen pounds for the remaining three years besides taxes, quitted the same about two years ago, That her said husband never kept house rented a tenement of ten pounds by the year paid nor any Parish taxes after, That she hath three children by her said Husband to wit James Nine years the 30th of December Lewellyn a girl aged four years the seventh Instant and John aged one year all now with this examinant. Sworn the 4th Day of Octr. 1781 Before William Hyde.
