Examination Text | Margt: Simonson aged thirty two years (in the workhouse) Saith she was never marryed that she was born at Bishop's Mounton near Rippon in Yorkshire that She never was an Apprentice never kept house rented ten pounds by the year paid any parish Taxes or was a yearly hired Servant that her ffather John Simonson was a Taylor and kept house four years at the Corner of Long Acre in St Martins Lane but that she knows not what Rent he paid for the same and that he dyed therein nineteen years ago and her mother then removed into Castle Street next to the Horse and Groom and from thence to one Steven's the next house where she dyed at Christmas last and she this Examinant was with her to her Death an Ideot |
