Examination Text | Daniel Moore aged about Thirty four years now in the Workhouse of this parish Saith he was Married to Martha his wife at St James Church abt Three years & a half ago but whether living or Dead Cannot tell Saith he was bound by Indenture apprentice for three years to one Thomas Prine a Distiller who then lived in the Strand agt the Kings Arms Tavern to whom his ffather gave ffive Guineas with him that he continued to Serve him near Six Months under the said Indre and then upon a Disagreemt his Master and he parted by Consent and the Indres were Cancelled and burnt which is about Sixteen years agoe That he never was bound or Turned over to any other person never kept house Rented Ten pounds by the year paid any parish Taxes or lived with any person the Space of a Twelvemonth as a yearly hired Servt Since Sworn the 1st Day of Novr 1736 Before Val: Hilder Daniel Moore |
