Examination TextJohn Coward lodging at Mr Hislop's a pewterer in Long Acre Saith that he is about thirty three Years of Ago that he kept House for about three Quarters of a Year in Cecil Court in the parish of St Martin in the ffields paid after the Rate of twenty four pounds by the year for the same besides Parish Taxes & left it about nine Years ago & never kept House or lived as a yearly Covenant Servant afterwards that about ten years ago he was married to Mary his present Wife in the parish Church of the said parish of St Martins in the ffields by whom he hath three children living to wit John aged about Six years born in the parish of St Mary Magdalen Bermondsey in the County of Surey Wm aged about three years and Thomas about five weeks both born in the House where this Dept now lodgeth Sworn this 7th Day of Oct 1736 before Val Hilder Jas Coward
