Examination TextElizabeth Thompson aged Seventeen Years Saith she was marryed to William Greenwood a Bricklayer on the Twenty fifth Day of July last at St Martin's Church Saith she hath since been informed he was marryed to a former wife who now lives at Shadwell Walk and hath several Children by him Saith she never heard where he served his Time nor that he ever kept any House rented the Value of Ten Pounds by the Year or paid any Parish Taxes or was a yearly hired Servant Saith she was bound an Apprentice to one Mrs Ward who lodged at a Pastry Cook's in Russell Court in the Parish of St Martin in the ffields for three years whom she there served that Time accordingly but (altho during most part of the Time she boarded and lay with her Mistress) it was against that her Mother should provide Diet and Lodging as well as Apparell and that when she lay from her Mistress's she lay at her Mother's lodging at one Tims's in Russel Court aforesaid and that since she hath been out of her Time she hath not been a Housekeeper a yearly hired Servant or rented ten Pounds by the year Sworn
