Examination TextMary Nurse aged about 21 years Lodging next Door to one Mr Davis's an Engraver in Earls Court Drury Lane where she hath Lodged about 5 years Saith she is the wife of John Nurse transported for felony now Sick at home to whom she was married at the Fleet about three years agoe that he is by Trade a Shoemaker and was bound Appr by Indre for 7 years to One Mr Careless then Living in Earls Court aforesaid whom he served there abt 4 or 5 years as she hath heard her Husband say and then his Mar Died and his Mistress gave him up his Indres and he never was tunred over or bound an Apprentice to any Person afterwards nor never kept House rented 10£ Pr Ann or paid any Parochial Taxes or was a yearly hired Servant as she ever heard hath no Children living but is now big wth Child Jurat die Anno Dom 17 Coram Septr 2d 1737 } One Son named John aged 1yrs & an 1/2 born in St Martins Workhouse
