| Examination Text | William Brown aged about 47 Years past from St James Westmr together with Mary his Wife now in the Workhouse to whom he was married at this Church about Six Years agoe Saith he is by Trade a Taylor and was bound an Appr for 7 Years to one James Brown who then lived Hedge Lane in the Parish where he served about a Year and then his said Mar removed to Bedford Bury also in this Parish where he served the remaining Six Years Since which he never was a yearly hired servant nor never kept House rented £10 Pr Ann or paid any parochial Taxes hath 2 Children by a former Wife Viz William aged about 23 Years now at Sea and Richard about 18 Years a Taylors works Journy Work |
