Examination TextMargaret Crighton aged about 27 Years Pass'd from St James Westmr Saith she was never Married never kept house was a yearly hired servent to One Mr Bradley a ffishmonger in Hungerford Market whom she served near three years had 50s for the first Years and at the Rate of 3£ for the remaining term left that service about 8 or 9 years since And never lived a year together in any one Service Since Saith she is great with Child and yt one Richard Lawrence now or lately a Journeyman to one Mr Horrocks a Tabaconist the Corner of Jewin Street in Aldersgate Street had Carnal knowledge of her Body Sometime in the Month of March last in the Counting House of the House of the said Mr Horrocks in Aldersgate Street Aforesaid where she was a Servant and several times afterwards sometimes in the Bed where she lay in the Garret of the said House and Sometimes in the Kitchen of the said House at one of which times he begot her with Child of a Bastard or Bastards of which she now goeth with and is pregnant of And that he said Richard Lawrence is the true and only ffather thereof and no man Else
