| Examination Text | John Hills aged about 30 Years Lodged last Night in in St Giles's Saith he was Married to Mary his Wife in St Martins Church about Seven Years agoe Saith he is an upholsterer & was bound an Apprentice by Indenture for Seven Years to one Mr ffrancis Plunkett the Corner of Hannover Street inthis Parish Served him there about 5 Years & half then gave his Said Mar 40s for the remainder of his Time which Expired about five years Since this Examinant further upon his Oath Saith that he never was a Housekeeper or a Yearly hired Servant Saith he rented two Rooms of One Mr Evard in Castle Street nearthe Mews in this Parish paid £10 Pr Ann for the same but no Taxes hath no Children Living |
