Examination TextMary Price aged 39 years lodging at Mr Turner's in Hungerford Market in the Parish of St Martin in the Fields upon her oath saith that she is the widow of William Price (who died eight weeks ago) to whom she was married at May Fair Chapel about 18 years ago, that her said husband was while single and unmarried a yearly hired servant as a Waiter to Mr Cannon, Vintner at the sign of the Cannon in Cock Spur Street in the Parish aforesaid for the space of two years at the yearly wages of 8 pounds diet and lodging, quitted the same about three weeks before his intermarriage with this Examinant, that he never kept house rented a tenement of 10 pounds by the year nor paid any parish taxes since he quitted the said Mr Cannon's service nor hath she this Examinant since the death of her said husband, that she is now pregnant by her said husband. Sworn the seventh Day of January 1766 before Peter Planck.
