| Examination Text | Mary Thompson aged near 66 years lodging at house let out in tenements in Hartshorne Lane where she hath lodged near a week saith she never was married, that she was bound an apprentice by indenture for seven years to one Peter Miller, a Dutchman Button Maker in St Martin's [Court] in the Parish of St Martin in the Fields whom she there served the term of seven years which expired upwards of 40 years since, and that she hath not kept any house rented 10 pounds by the year or been a yearly hired servant since the expiration of her said apprenticeship. Sworn the 13th Day of October 1738 before me Val Hilder. |
