Examination TextMary Morley aged 31 years in the workhouse saith that she never was married, that she served an apprenticeship with one Mrs Jones, a Plainwork Woman who lodged at a Baker's opposite the Playhouse Passage in Drury Lane in the Parish of St Clement Danes and that she served her mistress two years who then died, and this she this Examinant never was turned over to any other Person never kept house rented 10 pounds by the year paid any parish taxes or lived a year in any service since, and that during all the time she served the said Mrs Jones as aforesaid she lodged and boarded with her father and mother who kept house together at Angel Court in Drury Lane in the Parish of St Martin in the Fields and paid for the same the yearly rent of [blank] pounds, that her said father and mother quitted that house 20 years ago and never took any other house rented 10 pounds by the year or paid any parish taxes afterwards.
