| Examination Text | Elizabeth Prince aged 50 years now living in the almshouses of this Parish saith she never was married nor bound an apprentice, that she was a yearly hired servant to the Honble George Brichet Esq who lived in the Admiralty in the Parish of St Martin in the Fields where she served him upwards of two years, had 20 pounds per ann. wages diet and lodging, quitted his service near 16 years ago and hath not kept house rented 10 pounds per ann. paid any parish taxes or been a yearly hired servant since. Sworn the 11th Day of June 1739 before me Val Hilder. |
