Examination Text | Mary Snee aged 25 years in the workhouse saith she is the wife of Peter Snee, a Sailor in Sir John Morris's Squadron to whom she was married at the sign of the Hand and Pen the corner of Fleet Lane three weeks ago and hath no children by him, that he is by trade a Weaver and served his time to one Mr Avery, a Weaver in Long Alley now Carne's Buildings in the Strand in the Parish of St Martin in the Fields which expired eight years ago as he hath informed her, she not knowing him any part thereof, and that he continued to work journeywork at the said Mr Avery's from the time his apprenticeship expired till he went to sea.
