Examination Text | Mary Peat aged near 60 years now the workhouse of and belonging to the Parish of St Martin in the Fields passed from the Parish of White Fryers upon her oath saith she never was married or bound an apprentice, was a yearly hired servant in several places and last of all to one Mrs Manwaring, a maiden gentlewoman who lived in Scotland Yard in the Parish of St Martin in the Fields many years at the yearly wages of 5 pounds diet washing and lodging, quitted the same about six years ago and never kept house rented 10 pounds by the year paid any parish taxes or was a yearly hired servant afterwards.
