| Examination Text | The Examination of Mary Poultney singlewoman aged about 21 years a Rogue and Vagabond apprehended in the town of Dartford in the County of Kent and brought before me one of his Majesty's Justices of the Peace for the County of Kent aforesaid and taken before me this 26th Day of February in the year of our Lord 1745. This Examinant on her oath saith she was born in the Parish of St Martin in the Fields in the County of Middlesex and never since obtained any other legal settlement. Sworn the day and year above lines before me being first read over to her by me Saml. Malcher. |
