Examination Text | Francis Barnes aged 17 years in the workhouse of and in the Parish of St Martin in the Fields saith he never was bound apprentice never kept house rented 10 pounds by the year paid any parish taxes or was a yearly hired servant, that he was born in King Street St Giles, that his Father John Barnes lived in and rented an house in Castle Street Long Acre in the Parish of St Martin in the Fields for the space of three or four years at 10 pounds per ann. besides taxes and there died.
