Examination Text | Ann Mannick aged 48 years passed from the parish St Giles in the Fields upon her oath saith that she is the widow of William Mannick who has been dead 13 years to whom she was married at the Fleet about 25 years ago, that her said husband never kept house rented 10 pounds by the year or paid any parish taxes, that he was a yearly hired servant before his intermarriage with this examinant for the space of nine years to Mr Coombes an Agent living in York Buildings in the Parish of St Martin in the Fields for the yearly wages of 60 pounds and continued there two years after his said intermarriage, and that she never kept house rented 10 pounds by the year paid any parish taxes or was a yearly hired servant since his decease. Sworn the 17th Day of November 1746 before Daniel Gach. |
