The Condicon of this Obligacon is such That whereas the Churchwardens above
named Hugh Mills< no role > Francis Morlye< no role > Edward Grisdell< no role > & William Lawrence< no role > Overseeres
of the poore of the parish of St. Clement Danes with thassent of two Justices of the
peace for the said County according to a Statute in that case made and provided
Have putt Johana Lucas< no role > an Apprentice to ye above bounden George
And have given with the said Apprentice the Sume of fifty Shillings Sterling
If there fore the above bounden George Burton< no role > , John Burton< no role > & Lionell
Chancy or any or eyther of them or any of eyther of theire heires Executors
or Administrators Doe well and sufficiently provide for keepe and
maintaine the said Johana Lucas< no role > in by and with all and manner of needefull
and necessary washing lodgeing Linnen and all other necessarys meete and
convenient for such an Apprentice dureing the terme of seaven yeares And
alsoe well and sufficiently save defend and keepe harmelesse & indempnified
the Churchwardens and Overseeres of ye poore and theire Successors. And all
the Parishoners & Inhabitants of St Clement Danes which now are ane
hereafter shall be and every of them of and from the charge of keepeing and
maintaing of the said Apprentice dureing the said terme and of and from all
Accons sniles & taxacons whatsoever which the said parish or parishoners
of St Clement Danes or any of them shall or may incurre Justeine or be putt
unto for or in respect of the said Apprentice in any manner of wise then
thir Obligacon to be soyd and of now effect or else to be & remaine in full
force power and Virtue
