And whereas it appeares to the said Inhabitants that some
of the Psons whoe have heretofore borne the office of Church
Warden wth the Auntients or Vestry Men of the said
Parish for Severall Yeares last past have not Onely Misapplied
severall charitable be quests and Legacyes given to the Use of
the Poore of the said Pish contrary to the Will of ye Donors
to the apparent Loss of the said Charityes and Discouragemt:
of other charitable and Well disposed benefactr But asloe
have Spent and Imbeazeled great part of the moneys
by them Received for the Use of the Poore of the said
Pish in Treat's upon themselves and Freinds at Publique
Tavernes & Alehouses and in other Unnecessary Expences
whereby the Pish is become greately in Debt

For Prevencon of such abuses for the future the said
Inhabitants now Assembled Doe Resolve Agree upon
and Declare that the Prsent Church Wardens and
Overseers of the Poore of the said Pish and their Successors
for the time being Doe Manage and Transact All Publique
Affaires and business of the said Parish in the Vestry Room
or Church House of the said parish

And for the better effecting thereof at All their Meetings
for the affaires and business relateing to the Parish
The Church Wardens of the said Parish for the time being &
their Successors Doe Sumon & Call to their Assistance
The Rector of the said Parish for the time being And All
such Inhabitants of the said Pish as are or shall be in the
Commission of the Peace for the County of Middlesex and
Liberty of Westmr : or either of ym As also: The Treasurer of Lyons Inne
The Principalls of Clements Inn and New Inn for the time
being and their Successors And such of the Burgesses of the
Dutchy Liberty and Liberty of Westmr : and their Assistants for ye
time being as shall be Inhabitants wthin the said Parish and
such other honest and able Inhabitants of the said Pish as shall
for the future have past the Office of Church Warden wthin the
said Pish and have demeaned themselves honestly therein The
Overseers of the Poore of the said Pish for the time being Or
Such others who are well Experienced in the Publique affaires
relateing to the said Pish that all matters relateing to [..]
