and having so done, several Inhabitants also
spoke upon the Matter and after the same
had undergone a mature investigation the
Question being Moved by the Revd. Mr
Scott and seconded by Mr. Marshall
then appeared upon a then of Hand
for the Question twenty five-and
against it a very considerable Majority
A Motion was afterwards made
by Mr. Yeomans that a Committee
should be appointed to manage the Collecting
the Dues payable to the Rector and that
at the End of twelve Months a State of
their Accounts should be laid before
Vestry for the purpose of their taking
the same into Consideration but no
one according the Motion it was
negatived Nem-Con
