Vestry met pursuant to Notice given in the Church on Sunday last

Mr. Byng one of the members for the County of Middx having
signified his Wishes that a meeting might be had between the
Commns. for Paving &c Westmr. &c &a Deputation from the
follg. Parishes Vizt St. James St. Martin St. Ann, St. Paul..
Covent Garden St. Clement Danes & the United Parishes of
St. Giles in the Fields & St. George Bloomsbury presious to
bringing in the new Having Bills and one or Two Gentlemen
from each Parish Appointed for the Purpose [..] aforesaid
And Chas. Burrow< no role > Esqr . having Offered his Services there in The
Vestry thereupon Resolved and agreed that Chas. Barrow< no role > Esqr.
Mr. Sampson Rainforth< no role > This name instance is in set 2588. and Mr. Matthew Chessall< no role > or any two
of them be and are hereby Appointed a Committee for the
Purposes assd..

At Motion made by Mr. Wiliams and seconded by Mr. Tapp
Whr: the Prosecution already Commensed by the Present
Churchwardens Ngt. one Lockwood for Keeping an EO Table shod.
be Indemnifyed by this Vestry and all Expences attend & such
Prosecution be paid by the Churchwardens and on the Question
being put the the same was carried Nem Con

Ordered that this Parish Do Advertise from time to time agt.
all & every Person & Persons who shall or may here after keep
any E O Tables and that all & every such Prosecutions be paid
by the Churchwardens for the time being but that no such,
Prosecutions be Carried on Without the Concurrence of a Vestry
first held for that Purpose
