Of each of the Candidates Mr. Seager declared that the Majority
of hands was in favour of Mr. Jennings and that he was thereupon
duly Elected But Mr. Bird seconded by Mr. Wydrg on behalf of
Mr. Combe / and Mr.Stevenson seconded by Mr. Basson behalf
of Mr. Sidebotham severally demanding a Poll, Mr. Upper
Church: Warden declared and it was accordingly Ordered that
such Poll should come on in the Vestry Room of this Parish
on Tuesday next the Eleventh of this instant October at
Nine of the Clock in the forenan and end at three of the
Clock in the afternoon and be continued on Wednesday and
Thursday following the 12th. & 13th. inst. from Nine of the Clock
in the Morning to three of the Clock in the afternoon on
each day and that the Poll should finally close at three of the
Clock on Thursday the thirteenth

The Question being put whether Mr. Howard should be
continued Organist of this Parish for the year ensuing or be
discharged from the same it was carried in the Affirmative
Nemine Contradicente.

The Question being also put whether Mr. Betney should be
continued Sexton and Vestry keeper of this Parish for the year
ensuing or be discharged from the same it was carried in the
Affirmative Nemine Contradicente

Ordered that this Vestry be adjourned till Tuesday next
at Nine of the Clock in the morning at the Vestry Room to
proceed on the Poll
