to the House attended
by desire of the Overseers to make his Report to
this Board relative to the propriety of abolished
the Allowance of Porter given to the Sick in
the House, and substituting in the stead thereof
home brew'd Beer, it being suggested that by adding
the Money now expended in Porter to the Allowance
already made for brewing the Beer in the House, not
only a sufficient quantity of Beer of a proper Strength
for the Sick might be Supplied but the small Beer
made for the Common
Use of the House might be afford
of a much better Quality; Mr. Moore gave it as his
