In Pursuance of the Statute this Committee
met made and signed a Rate or Assessment
at Twelve Pence in the Pound through out the
whole Parish or District under the Committees
Jurisdiction from Lady day last for One Year
next ensuing for Paving Repairing Cleansing
and Lighting the same

Also an Additional Rate in the Optional
Streets or Places called Arundel Blackmore Clare
Stanhope Vere and Peter Streets at Six Pence in the
Pound On Cecil and Holiwell Streets at Nine Pence
Butcher Row at Ten Pence, Wych Street at One Shilling
and Norfolk Street at Three Pence for and during the
same time and a Rate for Churches Etc at Six Pence
per Square Yard for & during the same time

Upon the Question put it was resolved that the
Consideration as to the Fines heretofore set on William
Wrathall
< no role > & Thomas Coleman< no role > be adjourned to the
last Board night before Michaelmas next

A Bill from Willm Wrathall< no role > the Lamplighter for
£188..3s-0d to Lady day last and another from Thos. Coleman< no role >
the Scavenger same time for £77..10s:0d being Read the
Committee signed Drafts on the Bankers payable
to the said Persons or Bearer for the amount
of such their respective Bills

Ordered that the Clerk Advertise for a New Contractor
for the Scavenger's work from Michaelmas next- and
that Mr. Wrathall Contractor for the Lamps give New
Security for performance of his Contract
