Passage, Mr. James Austin< no role > of Clare Street, Mr. Matthias Brown< no role >
and Mr. Samuel Severn< no role > Inhabitants of Houghton Street and
Mr. George Collier< no role > an Inhabitant of Vere Street severally
attending this Committee and makeing Proof that the Lamps
in their Neighbourhood were for a great part of Wednesday
Evening last totally extinguished and unlighted
particularly above Ten or Eleven O Clock of that Evening
and the said William Wrathall< no role > having been summoned
to attend this Committee at this meeting relative to
Such neglect, but neglecting so to do sent a Letter of Excuse
which being Read, it was by Mr. Wingrove moved and
by Mr. Marchant seconded that the said William Wrathall< no role >
for such his neglect of performance of his Contract be
Fined the Sum of Ten Pounds, which upon the
Question being put was Resolved should be and Remain
the Fine on the said William Wrathall< no role > to be paid and
born by him for such neglect of performance of his said
ContractAnd the said Thomas Coleman< no role >
Neglecting personally to attend, yet sent his Servant
who admitted such neglect of performance of his
Contract, and the said Mr. Jennings and also Mr Prince
the Inspector and Mr. Howell the Collector and also
Mr. Jones an Inhabitant of Duke Street severally
making Proof to this Committee of such the neglect
of the said Thomas Coleman< no role > It was thereupon
moved by Mr. Marchant and seconded by Mr.
Pennington that the said Thomas Coleman< no role > for such
his neglect of performance of his said Contract be Fined
Five Pounds, which upon the Question being put
was Resolved should be and Remain the Fine
to be paid and born by him the said Thomas
Coleman
< no role > for such his neglect of performance of
Contract.
