A Bill from William Meredith< no role > for Repair of the
Carriage way of the Strand One Quarter to Michaelmas
last by Contract 27:10s- and for other Business 4:14s:11d
together 32.:4s-11d- mother from George Buddle< no role > for
Masons work the same time 26-8s-10d and another
from Willm. Baylis< no role > the Lamp Contractor for 194:15s:0d
severally for One Quarter to Michaelmas last being
Read and the Inspector examined there to this
Committee signed Drafts on the Bankers payable
to the said respective Persons or Bearer for the
amount of such their respective Bills

The Lamp lighter attended in pursuance
of the desire of the Committee relative to the default
of Lighting the Lamps, he endeavoured to excuse
himself from the effect of the New Tinn Burners
and otherwise and promised amendment, the
Committee more prevailed upon not to Fine
under his Contract
