Read the Returns of the Inspector of
Paving and several Inspectors of Lamps the
latter were Sworn to their Returns

Ordered that the Scavenger be desired to
Sweep out the several Courts and Alleys (particularly
Newcastle Court and little Shire Lane ) agreable
to the Contract Entered into

Mr. Ireland Reporting that Mr Bird
Mr. Brewerton and Mr. Nurse with himself had
viewed the Premisses requested by Mr. Owen to be
altered and that they were of Opinion the
alteration requested by Mr. Owen would tend to
the inconvenience of the Publick Resolved as
the Opinion of this Committee that Mr. Owen
ought not to have leave to Remove the Pavement
or make the proposed alteration in the Street
