(to wit) Benjamin Newman< no role > One of the Beadles of
the parish of Saint Clement Danes on behalf
of Isabella Prosser Maketh Oath and saith that he
hath been Informed which he verily believes to be true
that the said Isabella Prosser< no role > was Married to her
present Husband James Prosser< no role > at the parish Church
of Saint Clement Danes but cannot tell exactly the
time, that afterwards he Rented and resided in an House in
Clements Lane in the Said part in for about 3 or 4 Months at [..] Rent
£16 P Annthis Deponentthe Yearly Rent of £that he
left the same in or about the year 1777. & histhis
Deponentsaid Wife therein & never afterwards returned to her
that the said Isabella Prosser< no role > was takenintointo the
Work house belonging to the said parish of St. Clement
Danes in or about the Month of July 1777 and has
been supported therein for several Years & that he the
said James Prosser< no role > Neglects to maintain the Said
Isabella Prosser< no role > his Wife Altho he is of sufficient
Strength and Ability so to do as this Deponent is Informed & believes And this Deponent
saith that he hath seen the said Isabella Prosser< no role >
and thatShe is verher Mental Faculties Appear
so far [..] impaired that she is incapable of
being Examined herself
