Lucy Slaughter< no role > aged 24 or thereabouts
Upon her Voluntary Oath Saith That she
never was Married That she has lived
as a hired Yearly Servant with Mrs.
Poole of Thanet Place for upwards of
Two Years last past And Further
Saith That She is pregnant with a
Child or Children, That is or are likely to be
born a Bastard or Bastards and to become
Chargeable to the Parish of St. Clement
Danes when born, And Further Saith
That James Poole< no role > (the Son of the said M [..]
Poole) now Clerk to Mr Lowten in the
Temple is the Father of the said Child
He having had Carnal knowledge of this
Examinants Body sometime in the Months
of January [..] or February last past and at
several Times since, at one of which Times
He did beget the Child or Children of
which she is now Pregnant and
that he and no one else is the Real
and true Father thereof
