(to wit) Elizabeth Fraser< no role > Singlewoman
Aged 23 years & upwards Upon Oath
saith that she never was Married that she lived
as an hired yearly Servant with Mr Trowten
Mathematical Instrument Maker in fleet Street
in the parish of St Bride Bridgot in the City
of London aboutEighteen MonthsAnd year & Nine
Months at the yearly Wages of Eight Guineas that
she quitted that Service on the 4th day of December
1787 . and since hath not obtained any Subsequent
or other legal Settlement to the best of her knowledge
belief And this Deponent further upon her
Oath saith that on the fifteenth day of July last
she was delivered of a Female Bastard Child at
the House of Mr. Shade in Holywell Street in the
parish of St Clement Danes in the County of Middlesex
and Liberty of Westminster which Child hath been
Christened by the Names of Ann Harrison< no role > at the
Church of the said parish of St. Clement Danes And
saith that Edward Thomas Harrison< no role > a Mathematical
Instrument Maker who now lives at No 21 on
Clerkenwell Green is the only real & true father
thereof such Child he [..] & no one else having had
Carnal Knowledge of this Deponents Body &
begotten the Same thereon And Lastly that
the said Child hath become Chargeable to the
said Parish of St Clement Danes she [..]
