(to wit) Harriet Vitu< no role > Aged about 25 Years Upon her
Oath saith that she never was Married, that she
was bound an Apprentice to Mr. Alexander Dow< no role > of
Great Mayes Buildings St. Martinsin theLane in
the parish of St. Martin in the Fields in the County of
Middlesex Mantua & Stay Maker for six Years with whom she
served the whole of her Apprenticeship which expired about
Six years ago since which time she has not to the
best of her knowledge Information or belief gained
any Subsequent Settlement And this Examinant
further upon her Oath saith that on the 1st. day of
January last she this Examinant was delivered of
a Male Bastard Child at her lodging No. 22 Wych
Street in the parish of Saint Clement Danes in the
said County which has since been half Baptized
by the Name of James< no role > And that James Sanders< no role >
No. 18 Tash [..] Street Grays Inn Lane Holborn
Trirner & no one else is the real & true father
thereof he having had Carnal Knowledge of her
this Examinants Body & begotten the same
thereon And this Examinant further says she is in
Indigent [..] Circumstances and unable to
Maintain the said Child of which she
was delivered as aforesaid
