to wit Elizabeth Murray< no role > aged about 22
years upon her Oath saith that she never was
married That she lived as a hired yearly
Servant with Mrs. Jackson in the Parish of Saint
Clement Danes for Twelve Months and upwards
at the yearly wages of Six pounds that she
hath quitted said Service upwards of Two years
since which time she hath not lived as an
hired yearly Servant for Twelve Months or
done any Act to gain a subsequent Settlement
And this Examinant upon her voluntary Oath
saith that she is pregnant with Child or Children
which is or are likely to be born a Bastard or
Bastards and to become Chargeable to the said
Parish of Saint Clement Danes when born That
Thomas Lawrence< no role > who lives with Mr. Caldw [..]
a Surgeon & Apothecary in Black Fryars Road is
the only real and true father thereof he having
had carnal knowledge of this Examinants Body
sometime in or about the Month of February last
and at several times since some or one of which
times he did beget the said Child or Children of
which she is so pregnant and that the said Thomas
Lawrence< no role > and no other Person did beget the same
and that he is the only real and true father thereof
