(to wit) Judith Bishop< no role > Wife of William
Bishop
< no role > and aged twenty one years
and upwards Upon Oath saith that she was
Married to her said Husband on or about the
fifth day of February 1793 at the parish Church
of Saint Martin in the fields (by Banns) that
sub previous there to (as she is informed and believe,
her said Husband served as an Apprentice (under
Indres) with Mr. Paybody in Wych Street in the
parish of St Clement Danes in the Liberty of
Westminster in the said County for about six
years and was there lodged with him said Master during
such Service, that he was turned over female
Paybody to the Brother to of this Examinant's
said Husband but never served him under
such Indre or any one else by his consent of neither
as she is informed and believes neither hath he
since the expiration of his Apprenticeship done any Act Matter or thing whatsoever
whereby to obtain any subsequent legal Settlement to the
best of this Examinant's knowledge information
or belief that she hath one Child by her said
Husband now living namely Ann Catherine< no role > born
on or about the 26th day of September last And
that her said Husband hath deserted her & then
said Child and refused to maintain her whereby
she is become chargeable to the said parish of St.
Clement Danes
