Desertion

(to wit) Mary Carrad< no role > aged thirty one years
or thereabouts Upon Oath Saith that she
was Married to her present Husband William
Carrad
< no role > at the parish Church of Saint Martin in
the Fields in the liberty of Westminster and County
of Middlesex on or about the twenty third day of
July 1786 that her said Husband has Rented and
Resided in a House and premises in Star Court
in the parish of Saint Clement Danes for four
years and upwards at the Annual Rent of
Twenty two pounds that he still occupies and
Resides in the said House and premises at
that Rent that she hath four three Children by her
said Husband now with her this Examinant
namely Richard< no role > aged six years on the Ninth day
of May last William< no role > aged four years on the 15th
day of February last
Mary< no role > aged three years on the
30th. day of August 1792 and Thomas< no role > born on the 2d
day of July in the year 1792 that her said Husband
hath [..] deserted & her and neglects and Refuses to maintain herself and
Children & that she is pregnant destitute and
unable to provide for herself and family without
assistance and they are become chargeable to the said
parish of St Clement Danes
