Sarah Bambrough< no role > Aged about Twenty Years
on her Oath Says she never was married nor ever
rented Ten Pounds a Year Paid Taxes was an
Apprentice or lived a hired yearly Servant for one Year Says her
Father Jno. Bambrough< no role > Rented and lived in a House
called or known by the Sign of the Lyon and Cat
in Carey Street in the Parish of Saint Clement Danes
in the Liberty of Westminster for many Years
at the Yearly Rent of Thirty Pounds or thereabouts
and where this Examinant was born And further
Upon her Voluntary Oath Says she is Pregnant
with Child or Children which is or are likely to be
born a Bastard or Bastards and to become Chargeable
to the said Parish of Saint Clement Danes she
being Poor and unable to Maintain the same when
born Says one Charles Witherington< no role > late a Servant to
Captain Clements in Clarges Street Westminster
had Carnal Knowledge of her Body some time the
latter end of September last and at several other
times since at one of Which times he got her with
Child of the Child or Children of which she is now
Pregnant And that the said Charles Witherington< no role >
and no other Person did beget the same
