upon Oath says he intermarried with Sarah< no role >
his Wife in the Parish Church of Holy Trinity
in Coventry about 34 years ago; says that
on the 14th, day of September 1738, the Church
Wardens & Overseers of the Poor of the Parish
of St. Martin in the fields in the Liberty of
Westminster granted a Certificate under
their Hands and Seals acknowledging him
this Examinant and his said Wife to be
Parishioners legally Settled in the said Parish
of St. Martin which said Certificate was
directed to the said Parish of Holy Trinity in
Coventry; says he hath not since the granting
sd. Certificate taken a Lease of a Tenement
of Ten Pounds a year or served an Annual
Parochial Office.
