The Examination of M Greenaway on the
Behalfe of Susannah< no role > the Wife of Henry Timms< no role >
Taken the 27th- Day of January 1740 Who upon
his Oath saith that upwards of one Year ago the
above named Henry Timms< no role > rented a House in
Tothill Feilds in the Parish of St. John the
Evangelist in the City of Westminster of the Yearly
Rent of Ten Pounds & lived in the same for the
Space of two Years & upwards. And this Examint.
further saith that the said Henry Timms< no role > hath
not since that Time rented ten Pound a Year
paid Parish Taxes or otherwise gained a
Settlement in any other Place as this Examinant
hath been informed & which he verily beleives That
the said Henry Timms< no role > now absconds from Susanah
his said Wife & she being a Sick & Poor & having one Child
(to wit) Martha< no role > aged about three Years is not able to
maintaine herself & Child
