Jannett Bell< no role > This name instance is in set 2112. aged abt. 32 Years upon
Oath says she never was Married and that she
was Bound Apprentice for seven Years to one
Mrs. Joell a Child Coat maker at the Sign of the
Sun in Fleet Street Opposite Shoe Lane in the
Parish of St. Bridget alias St. Bride in the City of
London And served her abt. One year and a Qur.
and then Absconded from her said Mistress and
never was assigned Over to any person nor Rented
Ten Pounds a Year or Paid Parish Taxes And
further upon her Oath says that on the 14th. of August 1756. She was delivered
of a female Bastard Child in the house of One Mr.
Cholick in Lambeth Marsh in the Parish of St. Mary
Lambeth in the County of Surry which hath since
been Baptized Ann< no role > and that One James Collett< no role >
who was the Reputed father of the said Child died
about Two Months ago.
