to wit Elizabeth Hill< no role > aged about Twenty four
Years on her Oath says she never was married Rent
House or paid Taxes Says she lived hired Yearly
Servant with Mr. George Coupland< no role > a Carpenter in Clement
Lane in the Parish of Saint Clement Danes in the
Liberty of Westmr for four Years & an half at the Yearly
Wages of Five Pounds hath quitted herr said Serve
upwards of five Months & hath not since she quitted
the same done Any Act whereby to gain a Subsequent
Settlement and further upon her Voluntary Oath Says
she is pregnant with Child or Children which is or are
likely to be born a Bastard a Bastards and to become
Chargable to the sd Parish she being poor and unable to
maintain the same when born Says that one Edward
Johnson
< no role > a Carpenter who she now believes is gone to
Peterborough is the father thereof he having had Carnal
knowledge of her Body some day the Week after Easter
last past in the House of her said Dunstar but the particular day she does not now
remember and at sevl. different times afterwards at one of
which times he got her with Child of the Child or Children
of which she is now pregnant and that the said Edward
Johnson

he is the real and true Father thereof
