of Middx maketh Oath. That he has made Enquiry concerng.
the Settlement of Elizth Smith< no role > an Inft. aged upwds of 6 Yrs. lately dropt in the sd Parish
and has been Informed by James Smith< no role > (now in the New Goal
Southwark ) that the said Infant is the Daughter of him
the said James Smith< no role > by Elizabeth< no role > his Wife and that he
the said James Smith< no role > Served his Apprentiship with John
Ellersby
< no role > a master of a Ship at Hull in Yorkshire & never
rented Ten pounds a Year paid Parish Taxes or lived a
Yearly Servant for one Year That the sd. Eliz Smith< no role >
was born in Hull and that her sd. mother before their
Intermarriage lived a Yearly Servant with Mr Hamilton
in the same Town for 2 or 3 Years
