to wit Frances Johnson< no role > aged about 31 years upon her
Oath saith that she never was married Rented House
or paid Taxes Says she lived as a hired yearly Servant
with one Mr. Powell in Grays Inn Lane in the Parish of
Saint Andrew Holborn above the Bars in the County of
Middlesex for upwards of two years at the yearly
Wages of 5 Pounds hath quitted said Service about 7
years ago since which time she hath done no Act
Matter or thing whereby to the best of this Depts
knowledge Information or belief whereby she may have
gained any Settlement And further on her Oath
saith that on the 27th. day of Octr. 1782 she was delivered
of a female Bastard Child at the Sign of the Trumpet in Great Gabb
Shire Lane in the Parish of St. Clement Danes which has since been baptized & by the name of Mary< no role > [..] And
further saith that one Daniel Gabb< no role > a Journey man
Shoemaker who lives of No. 6 in Theobalds Road is the
father thereof he having had Carnal knowledge of
this Deponents Body and begotten the same And that
the said Daniel Gabb< no role > is the only and Real and
true father thereof
